Two years after the city was chosen as best European destination, Porto won again the Best European Destination competition promoted by the European Consumers Choice, beating 19 competitors destinations, including Madeira, ranked 6th in the ranking.
In the top 5 of the largest exhibition of e-tourism Europe preferences are followed Zagreb, Vienna, and Budapest Nicosia. The Invicta succeeds Istanbul, especially in the EBD website organization, based in Brussels that “Porto is exceptional.”
History, architecture, culture, cuisine and commerce are some of the things pointed out to visit the city. The “sumptuous” Palácio da Bolsa and the Foundation and the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art are listed as must-see places to visit in.
